Bio. 2.2.1: Impact of human activity on an environment
An environment can be affected in many ways by many things. A big thing is population. A huge way that population impacts the environment is the demand of resources, which can cause negative effects. Since we need resources quickly, farmers use chemical fertilizers to speed up the process of growing crops, which causes pollution in the air and water. In order to have a larger piece of land to grow more of the crops and increase production, trees are torn down, which causes habitats to deteriorate. It can also threaten the lives of the species that used the trees for habitats.
We pollute the air by burning fossil fuels produced in factories, and by not controlling massive wildfires, which harms ourselves and the environment around us. We pollute our water by fertilizer run offs, and oil spillage. It has been said that farmers use 450 kilograms of pesticide every year, which contaminates the majority of all of our water resources. We also pollute the soil. Everything from pesticides to nuclear weaponry waste play a part in polluting the soil.
Humans play a huge role in global warming. When we burn fossil fuels, we end up releasing greenhouse gases into the air, causing global warming. Also, by cutting down forests, otherwise known as deforestation, we are actually releasing CO2 (carbon dioxide) into the air, causing the chances of global warming to increase rapidly.
Non-native species impact the environment in a negative form. They are one of the main reasons that habitats are destroyed and deforestation. It has also been proved that invasive species are a bigger threat than pollution, disease, and harvest combined. They can endanger the various species surrounding them, and the environment around them.

Bio. 2.2.2: Impact of natural resources on the environment from generation to generation
The biggest impact that conserving resources will have on generations after will be how much the next generation improved or worsened over time. Considering how some natural resources are scarce, it's in their best interest to try to protect and conserve them as much as possible.
By conserving natural resources, you're already giving a positive impact on the environment. A big example would be trees. The best way to save trees would be to recycle whenever necessary. It can reduce the number of trees cut down by a dramatic rate. If we recycled as much as possible, we would impact the next generation positively, causing generations after to that to be impacted positively as well.
Another way to protect our resources would be to cut down on burning fossil fuels. It has been said that buying a hybrid car, or any type of car that doesn't run on fossil fuels, will help the environment. If our generation chooses to buy cars that run on different types of diesel, that car might become a regular car used daily in our next generation, causing the rate of fossil fuels being used to decrease.
Another way would be to cut down on using power. The best way to cut down on power would be to use solar power or hydro power instead. If our generation changed from electricity to solar/hydro power, that type of power might end up being the only option for power in the next generation and then generations after that, causing the environment around them to be healthier.
